Tim Scudder
Mr. Scudder is a consultant with IT Performance Management Group. He has extensive experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary,
global technology management consulting and system integration projects. Success in these engagements resulted from solving the
combination of clients' technology and business process issues. Mr. Scudder has demonstrated expertise in project management,
process innovation, technology management, regulated document/content management, migrations and sourcing management.
Prior to joining ITPMG Mr. Scudder was Director of Operations at Phoenix Systems Integration. He led the technical consulting,
development and support staff of an international content management firm specializing in EMC Documentum™ solutions. In addition
to managing over 25 projects, Mr. Scudder created a regulated system development lifecycle to meet strict FDA regulations
(validation, 21 CFR Part 11) and a content migration methodology to manage complex upgrades and migrations. He has presented to
life sciences industry groups, including the DIA.
Before Phoenix, Mr. Scudder was a vice president at Gartner. There he created the outsourcing consulting practice and built annual
revenue to over $1 million in 3 years. During that time he led high-value global outsourcing feasibility, vendor selection and contract
management projects, for example, one project resulted in $75 million cost savings over 5 year period. He created a consulting
knowledge management system to contribute to the business unit's growth while maintaining profitability, quality and customer
satisfaction objectives. Mr. Scudder devised a Y2K risk management methodology which was used for global Y2K consulting projects
and incorporated into Gartner's second commercial software product. Earlier, he performed custom IT benchmarking studies for Real
Decisions Corporation, which was later acquired by Gartner.
Prior to joining Real Decisions/Gartner, Mr. Scudder held positions of increasing responsibility in end-user computing management and
application development at a number of firms, including, Chesebrough-Pond's (now Unilever HPC), American Can, CBS News and
Columbia University-Presbyterian Hospital.
Mr. Scudder earned his Bachelor's degree at Columbia University and his MBA at the University of New Haven.
